Loader tool is a windows software application for loading software/firmware of set top boxes or satellite dish receiver boxes with the help of RS232 serial cable. There are different types of upgrade tools or loader tools for different types of Manufacturer. These tools are best for loading software and you can load many software through this tool. Once it loads you want to select IOS249 and select 'DISABLE' for the NAND option, then select 'Wii SD Slot' use the D pad to go down to the folder named 'wad' and select it, then select the 'USB Loader GX-UNEOForwarder.wad' file and install it. Setup

Download the latest version from the official downloads page.
Extract the 7z file you downloaded with 7zip (or another compatible program). The apps folder from the zip should go in the root of your SD card.
You can now run USB Loader GX with the Homebrew Channel


If you want, you can download the forwarder channel and install it with a WAD manager.
This will give you a USB Loader GX channel in your Wii menu so you can launch it directly.
Ripping Games
USB Loader GX will automatically detect when a disc is inserted in the system and offer you to rip it to the hard drive.
You can also press the + icon on the bottom left (on the default theme) to get this menu.

How To Install Usb Loader Gx To Wii Channel

Wads (WiiWare, VC) on EmuNAND

I have an emulated NAND on my USB HDD and am using USB Loader GX to install/launch the wad files and I'm having some problems. I've had some success extracting wads from my NAND & installing them to EmuNAND. However, often the name isn't quite right, cover art won't download, and/or the game gives me a black screen on launch.

I have tried to install the wads one at a time using the wad installation feature within USB Loader, but it would only install blank white channels with the game ID as the name. For example Majora's Mask would be named NARE.

My questions are:

  1. Is there a list of which games do not work on EmuNAND and must be installed to the regular NAND?

  2. Is there a way to properly rename the wads based on their proper name from GameTDB?

  3. Maybe this is connected to question 2, but why am I having problems downloading cover art for games that are indeed on GameTDB?
